I have always been lurking around this game watching the development. Not much of a poster but man i am EXCITED to say the least. I am 100% waiting on this to come back and do a full playthrough. I am very excited not just for the game but your guys whole team as well!!
See the thing is now they need to strategize an intelligent release time. they don’t want to release at the same time a major competitor has a big release.
Example Diablo just had a major release.
PoE2 has a major release this Friday so i doubt they will release anytime in the next 4 weeks… I would GUESS sometime in July. They prob want to see what/if anything Eleventh Hour has coming up for LE. More than likely LE isn’t getting next update until Fall though cuz those guys work like snails lol
I would say Friday July 3 guys, holiday weekend.
That would be my guess.
Crate never takes too long between date announcement and actual release and because we know we will get exact date in the next few days at the most - that puts the release around mid-june. I’m willing to bet on that
According to the last dlc back in 2019 (omg), the announcement was in feb 25 and the release in march 27. So I would say at least a month from the announcement.
So does this imply that WASD (if implemented) would be a style where W is FORWARD rather than UP? Regardless of whether that ends up in a 3rd person camera, I would FAR prefer that to the up/down/left/right console-style nonsense all other ARPGs implement.
I’m certainly not alone, but I remember feeling excited when Fangs was announced. Everyone thought you were done! you thought you were done.
What was it, the summer of the next year was the tentative notion of release? And then more. And more.
And moar.
I understand the impatience of others; there’s plenty of reasons for it and whatever expectations they might carry. Personally, though, waiting was fine. Waiting is fine.
This game set a standard that I haven’t seen met by recent contemporaries (to be fair, I haven’t really looked.) and scratched the itch that’d been there since Diablo II.
And with the general goodness of Grim Dawn as it stands…
extra time to make sure Fangs is up to the dev team’s standard seems worth it to me.
WOOT! It’s fairly close too. Just a little over a month. Also give me plenty of time to finish my Grim Poop Thrower of Doom and mess around with a few other builds too.
Only 18.99? WOW! I would have gladly paid twice that too.
