Grim ReShade

Hey,

Decided to give the game a grittier look using ReShade, i have some experience with color grading and wanted to change some of the tones and add some slight grain and sharpening while keeping it close to the original, here’s a couple of gifs and a download link to the preset

Have fun!

Thanks, yep that’s better on your pictures, I’ll try.
EDIT: This is to be used with http://reshade.me/

As Vifarc mentioned, this is a preset for ReShade

You just need to download then extract ReShade anywhere, put my preset in the presets folder, run the assistant and add a profile, pick the Grim Dawn executable and choose my preset then click save twice to confirm, you can close the assistant and it should apply the shaders every time you launch the game, it shouldn’t affect performance much if at all

Hi there, I’m having issues installing this with reshade… would you mind giving out a little installation guide for us newbies?

I create a profile, then a preset, with the cfgs, but then grim dawn crashes. Do I need any other files?

Thanks!

Thanks, while the pictures are small, they look way too oversharpened for my taste.

I rather enjoy the overall change, however the intense sharpening gives me aids. Think I’ll give it a try but turn sharpening off or way way down

For those of you who aren’t familiar with reshade/sweetfx it’s an awesome tool. Can be used to change colors schemes, add effects, new AA options, etc to games usually at minimal performance cost. There’s a big online database filled with presets for almost every game out there. Definitely worth checking out if you find something you really love it can honestly change a game in such a big way. In combination with gedosato or driver based downsampling you can really go nuts on upping the quality and look/feel of a game

somehow with the new version of Reshade i dont get this to work as reshade only comes directly as an exe data without a folder for presets etc. ?

hmm tried alot really would love to get grim dawn to look like this but ye overwolf does not work either
