Primal bond and master of death are exclusive skill, you can’t use both of them in the same time.
Doh! Of course, totally looked over that

Evasion based Cold SS CDR Infiltrator. 40%+Melee evasion, sick DA 66% Deflect chanse. Oupie =) 60% Reflect dmg reduction as a bonus =)
Anyone thinking of doing an elemental build with inquisitor arcanist? here is what i had in mind http://www.grimtools.com/calc/1NX6dXVD
I assume a defensive armour set up with that constallation, right?
I’ve got a question. Wondering how best to utilize the Revenant constellation skill Raise the Dead with the new Necromancer class (because MOAR SKELETONS).
But I’m guessing that the skill you use must kill the target to summon one, or be an active skill on them when they die. Since you cannot attach the skill the Raise Skeletons, they won’t be doing the killing. I’d probably lean towards a full summoner pet build with Occultist as my secondary class. Would attaching it to Bone Harvest be effective? Or possibly Sigil of Consumption? Thank you.
Honestly I have no idea. Been fiddling around with all sorts of different constellation settups. The main thing I decided that I want is blind sage and Attak Serru. I’ve been fiddling around with all sorts of constellation settups to achieve that. Ultimately i think it’ll depend on how well inquisitor seal, ADtH, word of renewal, and maiven’s work together. I have a few version of those constellation one with turtle and crab, one with turtle and phoenix. But I do intend to use somewhat defensive items. Problem with relying on items is the new ones could change my build drastically. haha
Have any recomendations to make devotions more defensive while still having Blind Sage and Attak Serru?
Not a Necromancer/Inquisitor combo of any sort but still part of the expansion anyway: http://www.grimtools.com/calc/w268gKZO
The main idea/thought was to use Fist of Vire with Fevered Rage. Haven’t done a Physical Sword/Shield Cadence character before so devotion probably needs tweaking or changing.
Raise the dead skeletons are based on char damage, not pet damage… so the only way to use it is with a caster or melee necromancer vit/aether
maaaaybe an hybrid thing
Was a reflection seeing the constellations was really offensive, GD requires us to be defensive either in gear or constellations. I just figure I wanted to run a Mage Hunter when expansion hits but since gear etc…is atm unknown and I rarely do much theory crafting I tend to look for inputs.
build looked solid to me so why I asked.
Yeah thanks for the input i’m much the same too much of a gray area in regards to gear, I have like 4/5 variations. This one being second most offensive, traded leviathan constellation for ADtH with ghoul. I have one with Giants blood and Charriot of the dead, one with Dryad crab, dryad turtle. Those kinda of things, hopefully i can find a way to keep my Blind sage and Attak Serru and still be able to kill stuff and stay alive.
A insane experiment that will probably result in failure, but I will try anyway: http://www.grimtools.com/calc/O2GB1lNd (note: I didn’t fill up every equipment slot because I want to wait for the expansion to come out with the new gear to make a proper brainstorm; also the Imperial War Axe is a placeholder just to showcase the component I want to use, I will use Guardian of Death’s Gates instead)
The build focus on reducing enemy’s DA through Blindside (Blitz modifier) and Rotting Fumes (Blight Fiend aura skill, or at least I think it’s a aura) to make use of the OA bonuses the pets already gain from Necromancer alone. My character will also be focused on dealing Physical damage.
Sustain will come from Health Regeneration bonuses, especially from the most ironic choice for a Necromancer: Tree of Life. The cracks that I found in this build is that I don’t know if the retaliation part is necessary (even though I got roughly 1805-2801 Pierce retaliation, and that I picked that much retaliation on accident when trying to find good items for sustain, leading me to the rings; Avenger of Cairn wasn’t even planned until I realised I got a lot of retaliation increase), and that it has very little RR.
But I noticed a bug in Grimtools while making this build. For some reason, Will of the Crypt is converting the Physical damage into Vitality of my character, even though it’s a pet skill.
If possible would like to see some more build concepts for physical damage death knights, and purifier builds.
Would post a link of a death knight tank/summoner build, however this is my first post so i’m restricted from posting links.
It is fairly similar to your build posted above Kaiosama TLJ. But I invested less into the blight fiend, and points into Spectral binding + Spectral Wrath. Also Reaping Wrath. In the soldier mastery I invested points into blade arc to hold some aggro.
This is the build i’m thinking of doing. It’s kind of all over the place right now because i’m not sure how many +skills I’m going to get. This is pierce/cold trap build with blade spirit I guess.
dVbBqQVJ is the build code (can’t post links apparently)
The main issue I ran into is that there isn’t any good devotions so I’m still not too sure what I’m going to do with that.
You will need to have posted 3 post before you can post links.
First, (I believe) this skill is not aura but the ability like ground slam
Second, in any case these two are don’t stack with each other.
Seems Witchblade remains the best tank, Curse of frailty for debuff, Blood of Dreeg for heal and (arguably) Solael Witchfire for attack speed:
http://www.grimtools.com/calc/dVbBrQVJ
This is as defensive as i could think, not so many active skills and no Oleron unfo, however Vire + Tree of Life are too tempting to keep them.
Nope, mage hunter will be the best tank.Capped Inquisitor seal and Phoenix proc provide up to 800 Flat dmg absorbtion. Add to this healing, regen 25% Dmg absorbtion on Sphere ,okayish health pool and Opie Mirror =)
Try this one - http://www.grimtools.com/calc/pZr7BMN6
Also, highly arguable. Tactician is arguably the same, but stronger in tanking department, while Witchblade will still excel, thanks to Frailty, in attack department. However, Tactician has potential to surpass this limit by adding +50% crit damage (insane, especially with Oleron’s Might) and having far more OA and DA than Witchblade.
Purifier with Blast Shield, Phoenix proc and Inquisitor Seal would have even more flat absorbtion. Tactician will have 350 flat absorb (capped Overguard + Seal) without Phoenix + 15% more from Menhir’s Wall + Shield blocking.
Actually, lots of choices for good tanking.
