Guess the Oathkeeper Class Combo Names!

My guess would be

Nightblade + Oathkeeper = Dervish

Soldier + Oathkeeper = Warlord

Inquisitor + Oathkeeper = Paladin

Occultist + Oathkeeper = Sentinel

Arcanist + Oathkeeper = Archon

Necromancer + Oathkeeper = Oppressor

Shaman + Oathkeeper = Templar

Demolitionist + Oathkeeper = Shieldbreaker

If somebody lists all the combinations with 100% accuracy, I will confirm it!

UPDATE 1:
Upping the stakes.

Anybody that guesses the combo names correctly will receive a copy of Forgotten Gods upon release! (A winner has been found!)

UPDATE 2:
Alright, it is the dawn of the second day before the third day of the first week of this competition.

We do not have a winner yet (though some of you came tantalizingly close!).

I shall now narrow down your predictions.

Are you ready?

Soldier and Oathkeeper is…Warlord

It is the dawn of the third day before the fourth day of the first week and…

WE HAVE A WINNER!

Whispers from the eldritch realm had come to Evil_Baka in a sleep-deprived state and offered the true answer. The forgotten gods are pleased! You have earned a key upon release of the upcoming expansion!

Nightblade + Oathkeeper = Shieldbreaker

Soldier + Oathkeeper = Oppresor

Inquisitor + Oathkeeper = Paladin

Occultist + Oathkeeper = Sentinel

Arcanist + Oathkeeper = Archon

Necromancer + Oathkeeper = Dervish

Shaman + Oathkeeper = Warlord

Demolitionist + Oathkeeper = Templar

here is mine

  • Arcanist = Oppressor

  • Demolitionist = Shieldbreaker

  • Inquisitor = Templar

  • Necromancer = Warlord

  • Nightblade = Dervish

  • Occultist = Sentinel

  • Shaman = Archon

  • Soldier = Paladin

Nightblade + Oathkeeper = Shieldbreaker

Soldier + Oathkeeper = Warlord

Inquisitor + Oathkeeper = Paladin

Occultist + Oathkeeper = Oppresor

Arcanist + Oathkeeper = Templar

Necromancer + Oathkeeper = Dervish

Shaman + Oathkeeper = Sentinel

Demolitionist + Oathkeeper = Archon

Here is Mine :)))

Oathkeeper + Soldier = Warlord
Oathkeeper + Demolitionist = Paladin
Oathkeeper + Nightblade = Shieldbreaker
Oathkeeper + Arcanist = Archon
Oathkeeper + Occultist = Sentinel
Oathkeeper + Shaman = Dervish
Oathkeeper + Inquisitor = Templar
Oathkeeper + Necromancer = Oppressor

Oathkeeper + Soldier = Warlord
Oathkeeper + Demolitionist = Paladin
Oathkeeper + Nightblade = Dervish
Oathkeeper + Arcanist = Archon
Oathkeeper + Occultist = Oppressor
Oathkeeper + Shaman = Sentinel
Oathkeeper + Inquisitor = Templar
Oathkeeper + Necromancer = Shieldbreaker

Tough. If one rolls randomly, the chance of getting it 100% right is 1 out of 40320.

It’s Zantai, what did you expect? :stuck_out_tongue:

Oathkeeper = Oathkeeper

Nightblade + Oathkeeper = Dervish

Soldier + Oathkeeper = Warlord

Inquisitor + Oathkeeper = Templar

Occultist + Oathkeeper = Sentinel

Arcanist + Oathkeeper = Archon

Necromancer + Oathkeeper = Oppressor

Shaman + Oathkeeper = Shieldbreaker

Demolitionist + Oathkeeper = Paladin

Only if it’s randomly. If we apply sensible constrains (there’s no way Paladin is OK+Necromancer, right?) we can bruteforce Zantai

This is true. But what constraints do we know with high certainty? The one you mentioned would be one. Along the same line of thinking:

Necro ∉ Templar

Zantai strongly implied Sentinel would reflect something already in-game, e.g. the Sentinel boss or the Silver Sentinel set. Sentinel the boss is strongly associated with the Eldritch gods and therefore Occultist (something already mentioned in this thread). Silver Sentinel currently supports NB and Inquisitor.

So from just these assumptions we can conclude:

Paladin: 7 choices, excludes Necro
Templar: 7 choices, excludes Necro
Sentinel: 3 choices, includes Occultist, NB, Inquisitor

Since the choices for Sentinel is a subset of the choices for Paladin and Templar, let’s pick Sentinel first. That leaves 6 choices for Paladin then 5 choices for Templar.

365*5! = 10800 combinations.

The problem with combinatorics is that you only consider the most unlikely options, and that doesn’t gets us closer to making a correct guess. I think it’ll be more practical to range for each mastery combo class names going from most likely to least likely.

Lemme guess, too!

+Nightblade = Dervish (That’s what most guess)

  • Soldier = Templar (Templars usually more physical and defensive in games)

+Inquisitor = Paladin (If there was Zealot I would have put it here. Magic Warrior fits I think)

+Occultist = Oppressor (Taking darker sides fits the name)

+Arcanist = Archon (Typically magical)

+Necromancer = Warlord (Thinking of Reaper and Death Knigt it could be fitting. Also some zealot running into the battle field with an army of undead creatures would add to the picture)

+Shaman = Sentinel (Shaman und Necro are hard ones. But I’ll go for Sentinal, thinking it would befit the defensive buffs of Shaman)

+Demolitionist = Shieldbreaker (Thinking of the utility of demolitionist)

Now that’s my pick!

You’ll confirm it! Is that all? Since this is likely the last expansion for the game a small prize of some kind perhaps if someone does get it right. Which won’t be me - so far I’ve got 1 correct. Still 7 more to work on.

Oathkeeper + Soldier = Sentinel
Oathkeeper + Demolitionist = Paladin
Oathkeeper + Nightblade = Dervish
Oathkeeper + Arcanist = Archon
Oathkeeper + Occultist = Oppressor
Oathkeeper + Shaman = Shieldbreaker
Oathkeeper + Inquisitor = Templar
Oathkeeper + Necromancer = Warlord

Zantai could even be more vile (viler? sounds strange)… What if we got it and Zantai says “Yup! Correct combination was found!” Now we can start over guessing again WHICH combination it was.

Oh, this can get even more sophisticated using a directed graph with weighted edges.

Specifically, a mapping from classes to masteries and from masteries to classes, all with weighted edges. Then some sort of algo would be applied to it to generate the most probable combo.

Oh I expect that’s EXACTLY what he would say, sneaky evil dev that he is. Great way to keep the hype going though isn’t it. As if it was needed. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d rather prefer if he confirmed that FG won’t be the last expansion, as a small prize in case someone gets it right  :stuck_out_tongue:
