I know we see him caged in the fleshworks and whether you kill him or let him go doesn’t seem to matter.
Any plans?

long ago, looong ago, there was a toss away mention iirc, that it was the type of (loose end) stuff to be followed up in a sequel
Who knows, maybe they find a way to squeeze it in to FoA?, instead of 10years from now 
It was at the time the most definite “hint” that there would be a GD2 somewhere down the line though.
