Harra’s Ward will turn Thermite Mine blue, but it does not include any modifications specifically for Thermite Mine, so this should not occur.

funnily enough tho the frost mine fx is not on nightstalker amulet that does cold fire strike

I see. This is likely an intentional hidden mechanism, bonus for flavour. In fact, I think it’s really excellent.

No, no, at first I thought it might have been a careless mistake, but since it was intentional, I think this hidden mechanism is really awesome. Harra and Rimetongue’s Thermite Mine with a frost appearance is nice.
