Have I ruined my HC LVL 42 Battlemage?

Hi all

I have a lvl 42 BM with 905 offensive ability
983 offensive ability

DPS 1818
Using panceti and Flash Freeze.

Maxed elem res.
77 Acid resist
80 Bleed resist
55 Chaos res (which will be 75% with imbued silver)

5847 life

Trouble is I’ve put a load of points into Physique and none in spirit

So atm I have 475 Physique
510 spirit.

I did this as I was playing a hybrid.
Now he’s a pure caster.

I can’t really respec too mcuh because each point is costing 1200

My devotions: Bat crane Scholars light, throne, three in Rowans crown.

I’m wondering if Im going to get into dps problems later as now he’s clearing normal well and he’s very tough. But with such low spirit, I’m worried he won’t do good dps when I get to Ultimate. I’ll increase sprit every level now.

On an aside, I use Flash Freeze on bosses and they seem immune to the freeze element. I could respec this to Trozans.

I would not worry about spirit increasing your damage. I would worry about having high enough max health to soak the big hits.

I went all physique with my aether Forcewave Battlemage and that was the right decision for me.

Bosses are immune to the freeze and thus the resistance reduction also.

since you are in HC physique is the way to go

If bosses are immue to flash freeze - should I go full Trozans or go for more points in arcanist at the mo I’m at 25 points.

Just keep around 5 spare attribute points for spirit in case you can’t wear high level accessories.
