Have legendary rates in Ultimate been nerfed?

It’s prob horrendous rng -but I played from level 70 -75.5 on ultimate and found 2 epics and 1 legendary - I’m fed up of dropping champions and seeing a pile of yellows. I’m playing HC and risking RIP for very little return.

Is this usual? - I scored a lot of legs and epics in Elite.

Seems weird.

They said they’s up the epic drop rates but Ive found 3 in five lvls in Ultimate.

:frowning:

Turnip

I’ve had legendaries drop left and right from trash mobs since the update, definitely looks like an improvement in my experience.

Finding 1 and a few blueprints is depressing …

RNG being RNG
Nothing’s changed, I can play for a day without getting a drop, or get a shitload in a single session.

Some days ago i got 2 legendaries from a simple hero monster:

LOL - I’ve played 70-75 and found 1 the entire time ::undecided:

Same as other said sadly RNG is RNG, but in the farm paths I usually take (which is essentially completing most bosses in the game…) it drops at a decent clip, so it doesn’t feel nerfed. (granted I only started playing again a bit before 1.0.7 came out…)

I usually end up with 4-5 legendaries… If I’m really really lucky, sometimes 8 or 9… (highest in a run of about 4 to 5 hours or so with breaks and distractions at Work, yes I play at work sometimes!, lol, I think I ended up with like 12-13 or so, that was like 2 days ago… )

So not really… The only time I’ve seen Trash (meaning non-hero or bosses) drop legendaries is in the new Port Vocab area, and that was only once… lol

Its been a while since i got 3 legendaries from a single boss

I believe it is.

  1. Spent four hours taking my Elite Cadence Warder from Broken Hills to Homestead by way of Tyrant’s Hold with no purples and probably 3-4 blues.
  2. Shut down the game entirely.
  3. Restarted after a few minutes.
  4. Got 2 purples, a couple of blueprints and 10-12 blues during the three hours spent completing the Homestead quests.

If a high level character doesn’t see at least one purple/rare material/Treasure Trove in the first hour of play, it’s almost certainly the RNG acting up.

you should use the filter

beside that it’s like everybody said, last week i was almost bored to play beacuse of the awful drop rate (basically the same kind you get) but yesterday i get 4 legendaries in an hour, two of them belonging to lvl 75 sets. and i’m pretty sure the patch isn’t responsible for that, keep playing and the loot will come… eventually

I don’t really complain about not getting Legendary on a single run. The most unlucky I am is only get 1 Epic from Rogue Dungeon runs, and its not really that bad. At least you get something :p.

Yea… I know it’s a purposeful design decision perhaps cause they don’t wanna make something more appealing to do over and over again perhaps… But one of the things that has always bugged me about Rogue Dungeons is the chance you end up with squat…

since it requires a crafted item to get in… I should have at least one guaranteed drop of a Legendary, I don’t care if it’s terrible or not really meant for my build, but ONE should always be guaranteed.

Naturally, there’s been times where I’ve done a rogue dungeon and pretty much gotten just exactly what you have, only like one epic item or so…

Anyway little rant off, lol

The problem is crucible has made main game farm feel lackluster especially rogue dungeons and nemesis compared to crucible aspirant

Didn’t Aspirant get nerfed with this patch though? I finished Aspirant about a week ago, and the end chest didn’t grant me a single legendary… Granted, I’ve only totally finish it once, but just saying.

Personally, I like both, but the Crucible can be just as repetitive as farming Ultimate since there’s pretty much no randomization in the Waves of the Mobs that come at you. Yep there’s randomization on the affixes that affect you, but not the mobs itself for Crucible.

Which honestly, is kind of my biggest complaint about the Crucible, even though I enjoy it a lot, heh.

The thing that took me away from POE was the lack of lot drops and development of your character; the same seems to be happening with GD.

Every day I play Ultimate, I think my luck will change and maybe it will

Hmm, Turnip have you hit max rep with all the factions?
