is there any way that loot drops could consider what you already have in your stash and have like a 1 time reroll before dropping the SAME loot you already have…

it’s kinda ridiculous sometimes…

today only i’ve found 3 empowered bloodreaper’s cowls and 2 of the same legendary caster daggers. yesterday i found a bloodreaper’s cowl and 3 of the same belt!

I don’t mind that they’re not something my character can use. But the monotony of getting the same items over and over and over back to back is discouraging.

yes, i know rng and yes i know it’s just bad luck… but the bad “luck” of so much duplicates can be programmed out.

that said, anyone need an empowered bloodreaper’s cowl? I could use an empowered wildcaller’s cowl if you have one for trade :slight_smile:

This might be a stupid thing to say but how would it then be a RANDOM number generator?

because there’s enough gear in the game to still make for randomization, you can’t hold EVERYthing in your stash and it can be made to only do a second roll so there’s still a chance of duplicating. just not as big a chance.

In all seriousness :slight_smile: having many of the same item drop was a known problem that was resolved some patches ago. Is your game up to date? Also what level are you?

Only within one session, not across sessions, so if you farm a lot, that is not true.

My first 85 was a shaman and I farmed like crazy with him. got 4 piece deathmarked set and 5 piece of dreeg set, zero pieces of the ultos set I was wanting(did get blueprints for helm) Oh well, leveled up my blademaster and just started occultist. They will probably get the shaman pieces I want lol. Just shows how loot goes in this game.
