My friend just started playing and he wants to play crucible, i really have no idea what direction i should even point him in for that…
he wants to play self found as well.
Anyone got any ideas for what would work well in crucible?

Does it have to be only hardcore and only crucible? Like, he won’t ever go campaign with this character?
well, i don’t know really, I presume he could either just respec if needed or otherwise make a new char.
I think we’ll be playing together later on but as far as this build goes, i’d just say some good way to start + some pointers on defensive… totems? not sure what they are called… anyways it should be enough

TY, most seem to already require some gear though, not quite sure how he would go about from scratch, but i’ll keep looking and see if one of them are less gear dependant 
if nothing else I can point him in the right direction for a good video to watch
