(Health Regeneration) Need buff!!

This game has a very weak health regeneration stats.

You can stack whole bunch of +Health regen stats and gear, and you are lucky to get a couple of hundreds health per second. This is peanuts in comparison to 15K+ total health.

Why is health regeneration such a weak and useless stat?

I have a lvl 92 Shaman (Storm Totem) and all I do is kite because I can’t life leech (not an attack power).

Unless you have Life Leech powers and attack power with life leech stat, you basically just need to kite around. But certain bosses you can’t kite fast enough as they either run so fast or immobilize (teleport in front of you).

For the vets, how can I get up to 1000+ Life Regeneration? I feel like in an end game scenario, Life Regen should be around 2000-3000 per second with heavy gear and Constellation points. All these 10-15+ Life Regen from gear and Constellation is such a non-sense.

Any advise?

Thanks!

I saw few builds having 5k+ HP regen per second. I sometimes don’t stack HP regen at all, and I still have 1 - 2k.

I’d rather say the game needs a HP regen based set.

Shaman, you have Wendigo totem.

And at lvl 92 you should have choosen a second mastery loong time ago xD

I had a realy hard time with my mage hunter(caster) ,turns out picking devotions like golem’s blood and wayward soul+more defensive ability goes a long way, problem is when you get fast and hard hitting bosses its hard, and wendigo mark is too weak for this build.

I do. My secondary is Solider.

But I don’t use two hand weapon :frowning:

How do I stack up health regeneration? What stats to focus on? and gear wise?

Wendigo is quite useless. Doesn’t add enough life… and such a small 5-meter radius! :frowning: Wendigo should follow you to allow kiting and some regeneration.

This is an example of my health regen commando.

You need to focus on flat sources of health regen predominantly. So you need to max Veterancy and Menhir’s Bulwark and see if you have enough points to max Menhir’s Will/Overguard. On your Shaman max Mogdrogen’s Pact and Oak Skin.

Equipment - aim for the Mythical Open hand of Mercy and Closed fist of Vengeance
Equip a Fleshwarped Bulwark with hopefully an “of Mending” suffix.

There’s certain devotions you should consider as well - Behmoth, lizard, tree of life etc.

Warder’s can get to the 4-5k hp regen with enough perseverance. You should aim for around 1.5K without procs.

If you’re trying to rely on HR to survive there’s likely something wrong with your build. Use grimtools build calculator to post it here and we can see if we can help you make it better.

typical late game builds rely on adcth, life leech, active heal skills or short timed
invulnerability skills for healing.

health regen is at best a secondary healing method (even for tanks).
at worst, health regen is used as secondary defense to dot like poison/bleed etc
alongside the main dot defense, which are various kind of damage resistances.

What has two hand weapons usage or not to do with it?
