I had a thought of making a character whose primary focus is health regen. Regenerating preferably more health than monster deal. There are a lot of good devotions for that, and lots of gear i’ve seen with good stats. Shaman seems like an obvious choice and maybe soldier for second class (the less dmg i take the more effective health regen becomes.
Are there any who built such a character or have thoughts on how to build one? please share
It’s not efficient because it’s not the best defensive option.
What use is a bajillion hp regen if you get swatted?
I’m of the personal opinion that - in a game where it’s not unheard of to get slapped for 18k damage in crucy by a nemesis - the best form of defense is to reduce the amount of health you actually lose, as opposed to recovering lost hp.
Would also consider using the occultist class if you’re deadset on hp regen. Dreeg’s blood alone heals for tonnes.
That’s assuming that they are on about the Crucible (this optional dlc that not everyone owns or plays) not the actual campaign. As one has nothing to do with the other in terms of builds
Oh no it kills fast, I meant “not efficient” as in Spellbreaker has nothing to support health regen. I just wanted a health regen first character. With the same choice of devotion and a Soldier + Shaman you would indeed get more regen but who cares.
Don’t have crucible as someone mentioned. Anyways, just wanna make a regen character for fun. If i get squashed in ultimate difficulty then so be it. wanna find out how high i can get hp regen. Thanks for the dreeg’s blood tip tho
Edit. Oh and a question, is it so that health regen from physique is not affected by modifiers?
I honestly don’t know but it hardly matters, the bulk of regeneration comes from sources like blood of dreeg and devotion skills like healing rain. Whatever you get from physique is inconsequential, especially since every build out there has lots of physique anyway, you won’t even notice the difference
A bit more on topic, 2k regen should be fairly easy to get, I know this was possible long ago already. Expansion should raise this number a bit I suppose, although I never tried myself.
