Hello, Adventurers!

I’m a long-time gamer and system builder (since back when a DX2-66 with 16 megs of RAM was a smokin’ system and cost more than your car) who is very excited about Grim Dawn. I’ve been following the progress for a while and so far it looks like we might have a winner here. Ever since Diablo 3 started looking more and more “MMO-esque” I’ve lost insterest in it so hopefully Grim Dawn will fill the void of putting a badass beatdown on all sorts of freaky monsters. I’m a legendary contributor and can’t wait for the alpha and beta testing to start! I love single-player PC adventure games, everything from the old Sierra and LucasArts stuff to the Diablo series, Titan Quest, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, etc…

A little about me, I’m an insurance agent in central Pennsylvania, USA, working at my family-owned agency that has been in business since 1962. I love cars, computers, pinball and classic arcade, vintage Hi-Fi audio, and I am also a Freemason and Shriner (the guys who drive the little cars in parades- that’s me). I love to build things with my amateur carpentry (crapentry?) skills, including a virtual pinball machine that converts between table mode and PC mode (been using it for almost a year but still a work-in-progress). I have an old Ford Torino Elite with a big-block 460 engine that’s been a resto-mod project for years, and I like to think I have the world’s fastest Shriner parade gokart (swapped the 10hp lawn mower engine for a modified GY6 out of a dune buggy). Basically, I’ve got a lot of varied interests and have tons of fun with everything I do.

Hi Lyanheart

Welcome to the community. I remember those days of DX2’s and when having a cd-drive was a status symbol, and having a machine that could run Doom/DoomII was awesome.

Enjoy your stay!
