First ARPG (and admittedly, first PC game!) was Diablo. Absolutely loved it, got Diablo II after that - loved that even more. Realised I loved ARPGs so have played games like Torchlight and even tried to get back into Diablo II again (the gfx engine has aged terribly though!)
Titan Quest was a purchase through Steam - only bought it a few years back but instantly fell in love with it - it was like Diablo… but with hi-res graphics. Didn’t even realise there was a whole modding community behind it and through that, I discovered this website.
Can’t wait for this game to be released and am definitely going to donate towards the Kickstarter fund.

Im a huge Titans Quest fan. I played last night. and i am new to forums in general. so here it goes…
Titans quest is easily the most underrated game of all time. I cant stop playing Titans Quest Immortal Throne. It is a beautifully crafted game and the graphics that are still hard to beat to this day. Thats just crazy when you think about how long ago it was made. The animation is far superior to any other game in the genre. I have played every game in this genre and they all fall short. Titans Quest was the full package. With Grim Dawn improving on any short comings that TQ might of had, can only mean future gaming excellence. I have come to realize that all this overblown hype and gloss, fluff and shiny things big budget games use will usually result in disappointment. I want a video game to be a game, not some pompous trot through some ridiculous world with no gratification for playing. I wanna kill stuff, get stuff and see cool stuff all the while making my hero into a god. It sounds simple but it is apparently difficult to achieve. Diablo 2 got it right and Titans Quest made it Relevant on a modern PC. I am still playing Titans Quest and i have played it more than i played Diablo 2. I would say that Titans quest is far superior than all others. If there is a game that you know of that is better please let me know, but i doubt it.
