Hello from Rhode Island!

Hi,

I bought Grim Dawn on Steam last week (or was it the previous week?) after reading some positive comments about it on massivelyop.com. The discussion was about current awesome ARPGs. I’ve been wanting a Diablo alternative and I’m hooked, though my playtime is drastically limited by my pregnant girlfriend’s mood…

I’ve put at least 25 hours into just one character so far, level 46 or 47 now, a 2H Warder with my focus on lots of %procs, passive abilities and lifedrain/attack converted to health. So far it’s been working very well.

I noticed some Developers and highly active posters (Zantai & Nine, anyways) are from Rhode Island which is super cool. Hello from the Johnston/Smithfield line! I wonder if they are officially based out of Massachusetts because RI is a dangerous place to be a game company (38 Studios, anyone?)… But still, I’m glad some awesome things are coming out of little RI.

So Hello GD community, I’m excited to play and support this excellent game and I hope with some exposure and community support it will continue to grow. I’d love to see an eventual console version and dedicated online servers. I’m going to reach out to massivelyop.com and demand they do a release article on GD. It’s one of the best MMORPG news sites, and ff not for the great comments, I would have no idea this gem was out there.

Good luck to Crate Entertainment, they have a new supporter for life.

Welcome to the community. You will enjoy many hours in the future of Grim Dawn. I, myself, am getting close to 300 hours in the last month and a half of so.
