Hello.

I’m 33 years old gamer from Finland, lumberjack by profession, at the moment studying Psychology at university.

Been playing GD for few weeks now, feeling even a bit overwhelmed by the possibilities of different builds, a fantastic trait in any game, every time I lvl cap one character I have to make a new one, just because something seemingly random thing gave an idea for a build.

I am very much what people would call a “forum lurker”, so you are not going to see that many posts from me, getting my post count to 3 so I could add link/s to my post/s seems to be harder than what one (I) would assume initially.

Welcome to the forums!

If you ever feel the need to say/ask/point something out, don’t be afraid to do so… it’s a great community here and the devs do respond to the input of the players.

See you in the trenches (hopefully soon) :stuck_out_tongue:

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome and enjoy!

Being a lumberjack do you happen to enjoy Monty Python?

Welcome to the addiction that is GD.

A lumberjack and a psychologist? That’s a rarity.

So you would be able to answer the question: If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one around, does it make a sound?

What this guy said!

I’ve only been here for a couple days, but these guys seem to be top notch. I think you’ll like it here too, haha.

Welcome!

Hi there and enjoy your stay !

Thank you all for the welcomes…

Yes I do, very much so, and I have to think that even if I was not a lumberjack I would still enjoy them. Sadly though, we are not allowed to wear nice clothes/footwear at work anymore due to all them safety regulations (insurance companies don’t like high heels combined with chainsaws).

I think this question is better suited to philosophers, that said, yes it does, things happen whether there are observers or not(debatable depending on how deep you want to dive). Also, “no one”? is the tree itself not an observer? or the ground that it falls upon? or the air that it goes through while falling? etc…

Apologies for these late replies, but, as said before, you’re not likely to see me post too too much.
