Hello from Croatia from me 
Just started playing this game a while ago. At First I did not understand the game, but, as I choosed soldier (3rd character) the game became enjoyable to me. I played a little bit (50+ hours) of Path of Exile so I have some understanding how to play the game. The game is dark which is a big plus for me.
