I recently started the game and make this combo…i am not sure which is best way to go, but i am almost 50 and want to try a different build…
Is someone out there that can help me with stats + devotion points? I got like 25-26 points in devotion.

I’d say with battlemage you could try an elemental cadence build (you have to decide if sword and board/Dual wield or 2handed). If you have access to some gear might consider even going full physical with beronath sword. If you going elemental take discord transmuter to cadence and elemental converaion from arcanist tree. Iskandra is a good set for a build like that (4/5 cause you don’t want the offhand).
Try this aether battlemage made by drizzto. Grimtools in description. You can use olaron relic in vanilla

Personally I like my 1h & Focus Cadence / Devastation Battlemage.
You will get higher DPS with 2H & Dualwield on Cadence but you wont have access to Devastation. Which I have a hard time not taking if I use Arcanist.
As I can see its not such a popular build!!
