I dusted off an old character I had on it’s way too 100 and brought her there. It was a bit hard leveling without the adcth, but once I got the weapon it was pretty smooth sailing for the most part. Large groups of trash die very fast and most campaign content is no problem.
However I struggle a bit with survivability. Usually stuff dies before it gets to me, but when enemies actually do manage to hit me I can quickly die, depending on the damage.
Kra’vall is super easy and I managed to kill Mogdrogen (though it took a while), but the Mad Queen had me for breakfast (3 times) and I’m not sure why. I got one or two-hit pretty much and was dead before I knew what happened.
Any tips are appreciated as I’m not sure what’s missing.
I’d like to get the other ring of the invoker set, but who knows when I’ll find it. Not sure whether I want to use the amulet or not (also don’t have that yet) but I think the current one is quite nice with the resist reduction.
I had a bit more damage at first, but I changed around the devotions a little to get more physical resist, because I thought that would help keep me alive. Maybe it did, but I still die pretty easy at times.
I’m not attached to devastation, if there’s a better skill to spend my points on I’m happy to switch it out.
I prefer this build to yours, has Inquisitor Seal for example and some Mad Queen vid, although before Sunder.
About MQ - make use of Mirror, Nullification. Ghoul is also for MQ like in the build below if the previous too are not enough.
Thanks for the tips. I had a look at the build and it seems it is/was struggling with similar things, so at least that’s something
I’ll see if I can distribute my skills a bit differently.
I took some ideas and shuffled some things around. Got the storm box (was wondering already if that might be better than devastation), swapped out the off hand to keep tri-elemental damage. Sheet damage is lower, but somehow it feels much better to play now. I do have higher crit, so that probably compensates.
I also swapped around the dev procs, which I think makes for better damage output.
After some playing around killed the mad queen as a test again and it was quite easy this time around. Did have to put up the mirror at the right time, but other than that could mostly facetank the fight.
