I don’t know much about better skill distribution for levellng your spellbreaker (others can probably suggest that) but first i think I should point out that often the easiest path to an end-build design is slightly different…and once near the higher levels you then reconfigure to your goal.
So:
-cold is your present (and ultimate focus) so use weapons that increase that.
I think you are trying to use this scythe for the 14% adcth (hp leech), but you are better off getting more cold damage to kill things faster and better defences so you don’t take as much damage.
-There are 4 things to adjust defence, HP, resists, and damage:
gear, components, augments, devotion points
I’m guessing you don’t have faction gear available to buy, but if you do they are helpful.
The most common damage type is physical and armor absorption is important.
70% means that 30% off all physical damage is getting through. Thus if you are standing in the middle of trash, each trash is hitting you for 30% of its physical damage - even if it is not above you armor of 633 -in addition to anything above 633.
To sum up:
-increase absorption on armor
-try to max other resists where possible (80%). Gear with resists is the esaier way
-the more health and armor, the better it will be.
-focus on your damage type
Basic component suggestion s(note that these are all focused on resistance!):
-Scaled hide component on legs and chest = gives 98% absorption
- leathery hide on head (HP, stun)
-silk swatch on shoulders (bleed, pierce) or some other resistance component
-another wardstone on amulet (elemental, bleed) or some other resistance
-corpse dust for HP or something else to help weak resistance on rings
-arms = something with resistance
Look for decent armor gear with resistances (except maybe weapons). Once your resistances are high, you can play around with other components.
As for devotions:
Currently, you don’t need Vulture (it is used to help reach Leviathan later). I’m also going to suggest that you don’t need some of the crossroad stars right now, either…unless you feel better with % health nodes.
That would give you ~5+ points to put somewhere.
-as mentioned, Amatok is a good choice, but keep in mind that your OA is currently a bit low for that proc (Blizzard) to happen much; Amatok it has big +%cold, which helps you do more damage- pick those first.
-or you can stick them in defensive stuff temporarily like resistance or HP nodes.
You can change these later as you get further in the campaign.
(Edit: ahh, so…Pretty much expanding on what Aerinqq suggested earlier)
