What difficulty are you playing? Because your resistances look bad. Never ever have negative resistances.
here is my advice on skill’s i changed some of ur skill’s.
Fix the resistances. Prioritize gear that gives you most resistances. Forget about everything else until they’re all at 80%. If a piece of gear gives no res like your ring or amulet then it’s trash until your res are good and fixed. Then, make sure you don’t let old gear sit too long or your armor will suck. Then, physical resistance and da. At this point don’t worry about damage.
Get components on every piece of gear. Again, resistances come first. Imbued Silver or Purified Salt on the weapons, Unholy Insciption on the gloves, Runestone on the head, Wardstones on jewelry, etc.
Also, get a better relic.
Don’t waste points on Shadow Strike. Take Consecration (guess why!
) and Ascension. For dmg, first get Night’s Chill and then take all the wps - not just Whirling Death - to 5th rank as soon as you have bonuses to all skills in nightblade (or feel like you can afford it without). Personally, I don’t invest much in anything non-crucial until I got at least one mastery full. And you want oathkeeper full ASAP for the Guardians. I’d pull points from everywhere (beyond one point) except Fervor and push the masteries. Rule of the thumb: one point in your main dmg skill/resistance reduction skill and two points in the mastery every level, picking up essentials on the way with one point only.
Thank you so much for the Help! This is exactly what I was looking for.
I am still new to playing this game, in your reply
“Then, physical resistance and da.” what does “da” stand for?
thanks!!
Defensive Ability.
Thanks for the help! I am no longer dying every 5 minutes, and the game is enjoyable again!
Resistances are king in this game.
Also, I wanted to add that in main game the most important resistances depend on which act you’re in at the moment. Aether is important almost always as you have aetherials everywhere - but most important before and in Malmouth. Chaos is only important after Homestead. Elemental - fire is most important in main game, I think, followed by lightning and then cold. Acid is quite easy to get as you have Antivenom Salves very early; it’s most important in Ugdenbog.
But this is not to say that - for example - chaos is not important in Malmouth. You still get plenty of hero mobs with various random damage types.
