Help with 'Other you' quest and finding Infestation/Fleshworks

Recently started playing again after a year away and bought the AoM expansion.
So far so good, got my Apostate up to 67, but man Crown Hill and the Steelcap areas are super confusing and am spinning my wheels and just endlessly walking around.

I’ve seen references to Infestation and Fleshworks areas, but so far cannot find this side quest or these areas.
I’ve seen a Factory Entrance that’s sealed by Aetherials and Flesh Wrapped Encvlave in Crown Hill, but can’t get into either.
Would love a few map pointers or if I need to do something else before this.

To open up the way into the Infestation/Fleshworks, you need to destroy the exhaust vents located around Crown Hill. There’s a quest associated with this when you reach the area.

I’ve marked the vents if you can’t find them. The way forward is located to the very top right.

Thanks, thought I had done those already - or do they need to be cleared each time you restart the game?

No but I think you need to clear all three in the same game in order to “open” fleshworks

You definitely have to do it once only, that should also work if you do it across sessions (eg open 2 in one session and the third in a second session).

If you cannot access Fleshworks after that, double check that the quest has been completed. If it is still active, you can see which vents you still have to open.

Thanks, I did have to open all 3 vents and then I could enter the Infestation
I killed my ‘other you’ and then the Theo dude in the Heart and False Krieg…not sure if there’s anything else or I missed a quest item

The final boss is also in there, on a separate level. Assuming you met him, you should be done.

Thanks, guess I’m used to D3 holding my hand and shouting at me that I’m done :slight_smile: I had already beaten the big baddie at the end.
Alright on to grinding out a few more levels, get my devotion points up and get me some more purples :slight_smile:
