Hello, I’m currently running as a lv38 warder with grasping vines (rend attached from devotion tree) and I’m using plenty of other skills as well to apply bleeds, however I’m feeling like the bleeding damage from grasping vines isn’t going to get much stronger late game. I focus on GV because I had intended for this ability to be one of my strongest sources of bleed (with rend) and I’m mainly concerned about scaling bleeding damage, as a spell doing bleed seems impossible to scale when compared to a melee attack with bleed.
Currently I have +333% bleeding damage modifier, and grasping vines is doing 608 bleeding per second, and I’m worried that I won’t be able to get this much stronger. Even with bleeding resistance reducers on a target, 608 wont scale quite further compared to other builds I’ve seen. I can see my ability maybe doing around 1000 bleeding per second with the best items possible? That doesn’t seem very good to me at all, and I’m worried that I won’t be able to kill anything in higher levels. For now, the ability does 1476 dps on sheet (but factor in falcon swoop, rend, other bleeds) and I’m killing trash mobs more or less instantly and I never die. Bosses however take very little damage.
Does anyone have any tips for me as far as scaling up bleeding damage as much as possible? Are there any key items I need to get to make bleeding damage continually viable as I progress into the higher levels?
