Help with understanding "Slow" debuff

Hi, just started playing GD so apologies for the newbie topic. I have a question about the Slow debuff. The official guide says the following about it:

This effect reduces the attack speed, cast speed, move speed or a combination of all three of the target for its duration.

I don’t understand what is meant by “or a combination of all three”. Does slow affect all three or not? For context, I’m trying to determine if the slow imparted by Grasping Vines is useful for melee Shamans who won’t benefit from enemy move speed reduction that much.

Thanks!

debuffs can be specified, which means you can get/use or be affected by a slow debuff specifically only targeting 1 of those stats, or 2, or all 3 at once

^only affects movement speed, because is specified as such

^affects any kind of speed stat because “total”

basically debuffs/slow effects (whether buff or debuff) will have wording telling you what portions are affected or if it’s generic/blank all encompassing

Ah, so Grasping Vines slow debuff only affects movement speed since it says “X% Slower target Movement for Y seconds”?

correct :+1:

Alright, thank you for the info!

look at 2nd node Entangling Vines and see an extra slow effect now applied
