I used to be more involved on the forums back around 2010-2011 or so. I can’t remember exactly. All I know is it was a long time ago. I was heavily involved in the Runic Games forums and in helping them make Torchlight II but I’ve always loved Grim Dawn & hoped the best for it. A friend was kind enough to get me the legendary (I think?) edition. When I had issues moving it over from one paid version to another Medierra was cool enough to help me out. That meant a lot.
At any rate I’m amazed at how far the game’s come. I’m so glad to see how much success it’s brought you & really happy to see how vibrant, friendly & helpful this community is. When Runic was shut down it took a big chunk of my heart with it. The title lives on but most of the devs have scattered to the winds. I’ve done my best to follow their projects but it’s not the same.
The Torchlight community lives on-in a way-but I don’t get to enjoy the same kind of community spirit on Discord that I used to on the old Runic boards. That’s why I’m grateful you still have the community you do & that you do your best to look after & honor them. I hope you continue to be successful & hold out against the elements of chaos that seem to steer the game industry.
You’re an awesome company & all you crate fans are an awesome community. Stay strong & keep on fighting the good fight.
Yours In Much Appreciation, -Zid
