Hey there everyone!
I am pretty new to the game and of course new to the forum and I have to say I am slightly overwhelmed.
I played just a few hours and decided I wanna search for more informations about possible builds and gear and such stuff before I do any mistake and screw up the skill tree and/ or make other bad decisions (it’s almost predestinated o.o).
I already searched for some good builds (also beginner builds) but as I said I am overwhelmed.
So is anybody out there who has the patience and the will to help a newbie to enjoy the wonderful world of Grim Dawn a little more?
I am not a very old player but I made it quite far in the game (hardcore).
I think your build depends on many factors, e.g.:
-do you want to paly softcore or hardcore? In softcore you can be alot more dmg focused, in hardcore you cant afford to die so you should probably have some kind of defense/sustain.
what kind or class fits your playstyle? mage, archer, tank, melee dps?
First hours in the game I think just do what you think is right, you can reskill (points into the calss itself cant be removed!!!) later on and adjust your build.
Threre are a lot of builds in the forum and many guides on youtube, so you should be fine.
If you like to start/play hardcore sometimes, why not play together? You can follow my stream and see when I am online. =)
