Horn of Gandarr should get the War Cry treatment

I’ve gotten so used to War Cry being usable whilst moving around, that Horn of Gandarr feels really bad in comparison (it’s still fine). So is there any reason why we shouldn’t be able to blow the horn while running?

0 impact, “feels bad”, big aoe dmg skill suddenly appearing like a fart
WC was changed for debuff qol as it was “necessary” for a bunch of build relying on it for RR, penalizing them more than others. But gameplay wise it’s “off” (you can even visually see this if you’re moving and casting it how the “instant” aoe ring still ends up behind you giving a sorta disconnect sensation)

For Gandar that is primarily a dmg skill this would probably magnify and “feel” worse to attack with when your attack has 0 connection.
*mechanically/balance wise it might also cause issues with HoG spam builds because no animation means more casts (this was hella funny on WC when the cooldown got bugged, actually able to kill stuff with spamming 3000x War Crys per second :joy:)

I get the build impact WC cast had on melee builds etc, so the QoL made slight sense
but personally would strongly dissuade applying similar treatment to other dmg aoe skills (judgment/Off/Gander etc) just because it appears neat, since their function and gameplay is different

Didn’t think about that tbh. Makes sense. I remember seeing a video about a spammable War Cry. It looked ridiculous.

I guess I just like running around casting War Cry and seeing everything break too much and wanted it for other things :slight_smile: .

was utterly hilarious :rofl: , kinda sad it got fixed since killing bosses with WC for once (but makes sense for balancing :sweat_smile:)
