how are people getting so much hp in their builds?

how are people getting so much hp in their builds? and not all have reached 1k mark on their physique on top of that dps gears

Devotions, augments and components that give flat HP and +% to HP. Add in Soldier Mastery with the one passive that gives +% to both Physique and +% to HP and you can break 20K HP with the right gear.

What do you consider much? Usually it’s augments, gear and devotions that make the deal for about 10k HP. Classes with Soldier Mastery can neglet many Phys points due to Military Conditioning.

A combination of the following:

  • Mastery Bar
  • Skills
  • Devotions
  • Gear
  • Augments
    etc.

I guess the question is how do they get this much hp on squishy combos like spellbreakers.

Mostly it’s some really good MI Shoulders and Gollus Ring, at least my SB needs those to reach >10k besides Augments.

Mods probably.

MI shoulders? sry, google isnt forgiving in searching an item with abbreviations

EDIT: mods nah, im looking at the builds posted here

EDIT2: im still only 75 and not much legendaries found, so far the only build i had that reached 10k hp is a soldier with 1k physique

The Shoulder Armor dropping from Nemesis bosses. What class do you play as atm? A quick way to boost your HP is the Faction Weapon Augments of The Outcast at Fort Icon. But without Gollus Ring or other HP boosting items it’s rather hard for squichy class combinations to reach higher HP pools without sacrificing too much damage.

Edit: Here is described what MI gear is and where to find it.

i found this 2 days ago, but due to me needing aether and chaos resist i cant wear it atm also faction augments for aether and chaos (Mankind’s Vigil) is out of reach and hard to please due to me siding with the outcast

EDIT:
thx, im still not revered in outcasts but i took trolls augments from the rovers i took targo the builder giving more 1.5k more HP

Nice Gollus Ring, especially with the Poison & Acid Resist. For the faction rep, buy a Writ of the Black Legion at the faction vendor and grind bountys. It’s btw not too bad if your Chaos & Aether resistances are just between 40 and 80 % imo. My first toon cleared all content with just about 20 Aether resist. But more is always better.

Generally builds reach around 10k hp if you go all physique, Soldier + Shaman has the most hp

thats another thing, why are some of the builds posted not obsessed with resistance? during at normal i had 0 chaos resist and when i finally encountered mobs at mountains deep that kept casting chaos spells at me, jesus they hit hard

ever since then ive become obsessed in capping resistances by crafting magic/rare gears with tons for resist while progressing through the game

Many builds have other ways of damage mitigation and a good amount of Attack Damage Converted to Health. Ideally, you want all resistances capped, that’s right. But to beat nemesis for example you don’t want to sacrifice too much damage. And some resistances are harder to cap than others plus some are more important. In the end, most builds have the major resistances at 80% or above and the other ones whereever you can bring them up to.

during Normal / Veteran I completely ignore resistances until the second half of act 4 (I include Hidden Path in this as I usually do that afterwards).
If I have any it is by random chance, ie an item I chose for other reasons happened to have some.

They really are not that important before that and you can definitely be fine without them or having them in the 20s or 30s.

Then there’s this item…

But yea high health depends on mastery and then itemization/devotion/components/augments.

I’ve been hunting several MI’s for quite some time (hidden path pants, gollus ring, cronley ring, viloth ring) and I’ve gotten some decent rolls but not overly amazing ones.

I think that’s vitality.

I had closer to 15k hp on my lvl 65 warder, it’s just your gear/build
