How do i get to the new zone

I got the quest, but it just says northwest of the fort, and I have been everywhere. The map is useless.

In fort Ikon there’s a NPC nearby the guy who asks you to deal with the outcast. I think he’s Avins. talk to him. (if the screenshots of the map aren’t enough, tell me. i’ll be in the PC soon, i’ll post in-game screenshots)

but how can you get the quest if you have not talked to him already?

Yeah, I didn’t see the new hole in the wall or the new gate near him. That is what I wanted to know: the entrance location.
