I bought this game on Good Old Games. Not sure if there is a difference of Steam. My family loved playing Diablo 3 because it was multiplayer. My wife saw me playing Grim Dawn and would like to play as well, but only with me in multiplayer. So my question is, how do I do this?
I see no option for split screen/or multiple characters on the same screen… Is the only option is to buy another copy and play on two separate computers? If so does that mean my wife needs to set up an account as well? She doesn’t want a GOG account.
If this is the case, we will wait for the Xbox version to come out. Thing is, will we have split screen/multiple characters on same screen for the Xbox version?
Yes, the only option is to buy another copy of the game to use on a separate computer. If she has a Steam account then she can buy it there and you can still play together if you have the base game and both expansions because Forgotten Gods includes the ability to crossplay between Steam and GOG so long as both versions of the game are the same.
No idea if Xbox will have split screen/multiple characters or not. Devs haven’t said much about what it will include yet.
D’OH. I have a Steam account. My wife doesn’t even need to have one LOL. I have it on GOG, so will wait for a sale, buy all expansion packs on both platforms and then we can play.
Just don’t have the money right now to pay full price. Don’t mind paying full price, very worth it, but at the moment money is tight.
