I work as a programmer at a AAA gaming company and unless the codebase is a mess, I don’t see a reason such task would take more than a couple of days for someone with experience working with that module.
What they did with the loot filters was really great, kudos there.
This isn’t a AAA. This an indie with about 13 people and 2 programmers (that I’m immediately aware of). There were some hires a while back tho and I’m not sure what all jobs they filled but I’m assuming they were put on the city-builder. Between working on the rogue-like for 1.5, an Xbone port, and some type of city-builder game, something tells me they keep busy and prioritize.
