How far can a character with high "proc chance + default attack" go?

I’m still in easier difficulty + Veteran mode, so far I don’t face any issues.

But the problem is, how far can it goes in Elite and Ultimate?

As this build, I totally ignore debuff skill and lifesteal. The DPS outcome is great though.

By far, I go with Lightning proc, Trickster, and Fire proc, Sorcerer.

My ‘proc’ here means that you proc on your attack and proc on being hit.

I also go with full Spirit build to maximize the DPS.

Don’t go full spirit! Physique is too important! Restart now if you have more than 10 in spirit, so you don’t have to restart later.

What procs do you mean? I’m doing an elementalist which has a lot of procs, but they are far from my main damage source.

Max lightning strike (1 point in Fire strike, Explosive strike and modifier), use dual melee weapons (if this is your first char, use stuff from the Kymon shop). Max Stormcaller’s pact. Max Wendigo totem for heals and attach the lightning bolt constellation proc (Reckless tempest) on it. Use Arcane bomb (widow constellation) on your Fire strike. Obviously max all the good auras (the 40% health one form the shaman tree, Vindictive flame and Flame touched from demo). You will have over +100% crit damage, so get as much Offensive ability as you can.

When you get to ultimate, you are guaranteed to get the best lightning sword in the game (after you complete the missing diary quest in Homestead, go to tomb of Korvak just before the Astern valley riftgate and kick a vase in the far right room of the tomb with a circular well-like thing and some snow). You can do this again with another char, as long as it can reach ultimate.

what? where? sword?
can you please post a screenshot of the sword or the name and the location on the map?

regards.
