How I take a screen shot?

Usually use Steam to take a screen shot but that has warning and other details on it. I have notice in the forms people having clean screen shots, so how do I take a clean screen shot? PS I would be nice if the game had that but that is something for the next game in the development cue.

6. To get rid of the other icons you need to hit the appropriate hotkeys for the widgets.
