So I have been trying to figure out how many shrines I still need to find and their locations. Problem is I can’t seem to find a consistent number from any source.
I am currently sitting on 43 shrines. I am playing normal non-vet mode. I also FG DLC.
So can someone give me an accurate number of how many shrines I should have?
There’s more shrines than there are devotion points, you can get a max of (iirc) 50 (55???) devotion points :eek:, but I’m not sure what the total number of actual shrines is as Crate have added extra so that people don’t run short if they skip a difficulty

48 total in normal with AoM and FG.

With FG there are now a total of 154 shrines across all difficulties. Ultimate has 58, Elite has 50 and Normal 46.

As devotion points are capped to 55 what is the interest to get so many shrines ?
You can reach 55 points very easily completing FG and perhaps act 1 in elite, after why restore shrines if not part of a quest.
Capping the devotion points at 55 is non sense as well as skill points reduce to 2 and 1.
More shrines were added so people who want to skip up to Ultimate from Normal can get all their devotion points in that difficulty without having to drop down to a lower one. Some are in places some people don’t like to go to: Hidden Path, Conflagration, Port Valbury, Stonerend Quarry.
It’s not nonsense, it’s called making sure you have to make choices of where to point your points rather than have so many everything can be maxed out - which would make everything overpowered.
