How to- Copy a Character with GD Stash and Save File

Bit of backstory had a few characters I was playing with friends and family, and wanted to play them solo but not get too far ahead of friends and family, so I tried using GD stash to copy a character and it worked like a charm!

  1. Turn off steam cloud save
  2. Install GD stash
  3. Close Grim dawn game client
  4. Find desired characters save file
  5. Make a Copy of file out of save folder
  6. Rename character in GD stash and save
  7. Post the old save we copied earlier back in
  8. Refresh in GD stash to double check you did it right
  9. Re-launch Grim Dawn and Ta-da!
