How to get low level relic blueprints?

I know there have been other threads on this, but I haven’t seen any real solutions yet.

I am in need of the Guile relic (level 25 blueprint). My main character is level 100, and my understanding is that there is literally no way for him to obtain that blueprint at that level. This is unfortunate because there are several high level blueprints that I cannot make until I have guile.

I’ve created another character with the sole purpose of farming low level blueprints but still have not obtained the one I need. My new character is now level 40, and I’m concerned that soon he won’t be able to obtain the low level blueprints either (if that’s not the case already).

I have no problem putting in the work, but this seems a bit ridiculous that high level blueprints REQUIRE low level ones which simply cannot be obtained after a certain level. And what makes it more frustrating is that I don’t even know what the level cutoff is. Am I supposed to just keep creating a new alt every time the previous one hits level 50 or something in order to get the low level relics I need?

With my new character, I’ve pretty much done nothing but grind crucible and treasure troves but have come up empty. Again, I’m fine with the grinding but I don’t even know what level my chance of obtaining a level 25 relic goes to zero.

Ok this is weird… After spending hours and hours searching for this relic, I have finally obtained it like half an hour after making this post.

I got it by pure luck, but now I’m pretty sure it can be farmed (at least with the new expansion).

So I purchased the new item that you can transfer to other character to automatically unlock elite mode and all of the way points.

On a whim, I teleported my new character to the Coven’s Refuge (normally I would not even be here yet as everything was quite a bit higher level than me). Anyway, I ported there and went into the ancient grove and then went to the NPC merchant in the Feral Thicket. I opened his wares, and he had Guile!!!

I didn’t think he’d even sell the low level relics but he had it the very first time I spoke with him. So this tells me he could be farmed for other low level relics.

I found this quite useful when i lost all my blueprints due to a stupid mistake:

Most low level blueprints can be bought from either the vendor in Steelclap or from that vendor in Blood Grove that’s normally hidden: Benevald, IIRC. However, this doesn’t work for all, such as Squall relic, for example. That’s where the above link came in.

To note: for faster results, play in Veteran with your main char so that you remove from the drop chances most of the higher end stuff, thus having more chances for what you’re looking for.
