Hello all, does anyone know how to open .anm files from the game in 3ds max or maya ? Thanks in advance
As I understand it, you can’t go backwards from .anm into 3DS Max. .anm files are files compiled by the Asset Manager from an existing 3DS Max output animation. You can view anm’s in the Viewer.exe (provided as part of the game installation) but I don’t believe you can rightly edit them in any capacity.
okami or Allminoxy might have a more knowledgeable answer for you if I’m wrong, though; they’ve been doing a lot of animation work.
Yes, unfortunately the .anm files are basically just meta data that tells the engine which max/aif to use, at least as far as I understand.
So there is no way to modifie these ?
