Are you asking how to create a Default Attack Modifier like Fire Strike or Savagery, or do you want to change the player’s starting attack skill?
The former is just based on which skill templates you choose. I’d recommend copying existing templates (i.e., like Fire Strike or Savagery) and working off those.
I’m currently working with a copy of Forcewave, which has the Tremor transmuter skill which states that it no longer is a default attack. (Primal strike* also has a transmuter like this.)
I’m just trying to figure out how it changes that with that transmuter, but not sure how I want things to work in my current project. So I am looking for how to make it either way.
It does not state that it is NO LONGER a default attack, it simply states that it isn’t one. Untransmuted Forcewave is not a default attack either.
I see… That seems like it should be on the base skill or worded differently, because all transmuters like that refer to the name of the transmuter ><
