So, maybe someone else didn’t realize this, a little PSA:
You know how Curse of Frailty was added to the list of skills that can proc devotions? Me, I assumed it only checked on cast and didn’t think much of it - a nice bonus for casting Curse on large groups of enemies.
Turns out it it checks for a proc every second or so while the curse is on target. Combines divinely with procs that you want to occur relatively frequently but don’t need to proc them as frequently as possible, such as Solael’s Witchfire, for example.
Yep.
It’s interesting. Just because of this one particular change a few of my hybrid summoner builds have become pure summoner builds, and I’ve managed to convert some of my pure summoner builds into successful hybrids.
It all depends on what devotion active you attach to skills like these, and how much %chance on hit items/gear you have.
I really liked this change as well for my Gunslinger Pyromancer, a build which only has 3 skills to bind something too, CoF being one of them. Thanks to this change I can put Solael’s Witchfire on CoF instead of Flashbang, which is much more comfortable for applying it to a pack of trash.
