My girlfriend and I were recently gifted an expensive, second-hand, king size mattress from a family friend. The mattress is great, but it came from a house with a large number of cats! I love cats, but I am extremely allergic to them and I have noticed that I have allergic responses to the mattress. Shortly after laying down on it, my nose gets stuffed up and I have a hard time breathing.
As such, I am looking for a hypoallergenic mattress cover. It seems like the Luna brand is highly rated, but I don’t love that it doesn’t zip closed!
Anyone have any recommendations? I don’t particularly care about the waterproofing aspect. I just need something that helps me breathe easily.
