I can't upgrade my lvl 1 houses

my houses indicate that they are ready for a performance. when i select them, there is no button to perform the upgrade.

Did you turn off the auto upgrade for them on the top right of the screen? You can’t manually upgrade houses, it can only be done using the auto upgrade.
