I’ve already killed 3 level 100 chars while trying to get past SR 25, How am I supposed to farm legendaries on SR 65 if I need Legendaries to get to SR 65?
Max your rep with factions and use level 90 faction gear to farm monster totems before tackling SR. Monster totems have a pretty good chance of dropping legendary items and they are much easier to tackle than SR 25 typically. Also don’t forget the faction augments to enhance your resistances/damage/etc. Again the highest level (revered) items are the best typically. And don’t discount monster infrequent items. Sometimes those are better individually than legendary gear items especially if you get good affixes.

Do you have any in mind?
Basically any pet starter build will be able to farm totems on HC. I am playing a Ritualist skeleton build right now on a fresh start HC run and it deletes totems.

Farm totems and treasure troves. SR is a trap for fresh 100s and i really wish people would stop recommending it.

i would recommend you to look for shockwave or primal strike builds. that’s the easiest way imo.

This is good advice.
SR is a great testing ground for already established builds that are farming gear for OTHER characters.
If your build is not at least 95% there, totems are a better way to farm.

And if you really prefer to run SR instead of totems, run SR 50 or so in Normal. If it is too easy, go up a bit, or switch to a lower level on Elite. You can work your way up from there. I have ran Normal SR quite a bit with my first HC character that reached level 100. Granted, it was a pet Conjurer, which is very safe.
