Mythical Stormseer Sapphire is rarely used in Lightning AAR due to useless statistics despite lv 94.
I want to enjoy blue AAR using this Amy, but unfortunately it cannot be used because it is weaker than Aetherbolt Pendant.
Therefore, I would like to propose such a change. This will definitely be bis for Lightning AAR Soc/Druid.

Sure, I’d just pick Visage of Black Flames for 36% damage reduction. :rolleyes:

I’d say yes if:

Amulet gave no %spirit, or gave 4% max roll.
50% fire -> lightning is way too much as for a craftable amulet, should not be increased.

Additional ADCtH doesn’t feel right, you’d still go the Crystal with 6%, as the flat damage in the other book gives less damage than the crit damage from the crystal. Should not be there.

I enjoyed and thought that druid with this amulet is way better than Mage Hunter before FG. I’d also swap the Fire -> cold to Fire -> lightning instead of just removing it, and getting rid of the global conversion, or letting it be as it is right now.

Certainly 50% is more than other things. So that change probably won’t happen.

Also, I imagined such a build.
I thought that 4% would be fine as I could get some recovery from VF. However, I do not know because I did not test it.

If global conversion is lost, Fire from Frame touched can not be converted to Lightning, which works against Sorcerer.
This is because I assumed Sorcerer / Druid this time. If Stornseer does not support Sorcerer, it may be as you thought.

Well, this is just an ideal, and I don’t think it will be adopted as it is. Please understand that it is just to include my hope.

Enjoy, one of my early attempts to make a build of my own. I know it’s bad, know the reasons it’s bad, but it happened.

I also know there was another guy who made a CT lightning druid out of this ammy.

It became kind of a custom to only post high performance builds, so no wonder you haven’t seen it before.

I have not tried Lightning CT, but in that case AAR support is useless, so I would like to change it to something else.

As for a year old build, and remembering some things from back then, it doesn’t look that bad. I checked the BiS setup, btw. Maybe it would be possible to re-design it in current patch to actually make it work, though.

There’s Compelled Wrath now so I can also have a Fire/Lightning devastation, which would make a good use of fire to lightning on the amulet and gloves. The helm would need to be Outcast’s Secret, hands down. Also Spear of the Heaven should be chosen instead of Blind Sage & Attack Seru, since it’ll also allow me to chain devastation by getting Aeon HG. Since there’s SotH then two Storm Witch glyphs and Storm Shepherd would make sense, then these items are also aligned with Canister.

So yeah, could probably work better now.
