Since the domination of Aether Spellbinder on the meta, we didn’t see any new possibilities for aether lovers though Krieg Set is still very good. And Bonemonger is a new fresh set.

Nevertheless, we got new very interesting conduits with aether conversion (stun jacks, Bone Harvest, Primal Strike/Savagery, Vire’s Might etc.). And it’s very hard to support these amulets with proper itemisation.

Wouldn’t it be time to have a set for Necromancer / Demolitionist (and any other third class) ? First, Defiler really needs some love and the only Aether Demolitionist Items are the (old) Argrivix Set. Secondly, I want Blackwater Cocktail and Mortar Trap to have an aether FX.

+1. Highly agree with Belzzzz about an aether set for defiler/ritualist maybe.
Why do we need it:

  1. as was mentioned above, we have lots of coduits with -> aether conversion without proper support.
  2. defiler and ritualist are class combos with poor support (the first one has Blighlord, the second - Blood Knight/Krieg probably)
  3. we still have no set for an aether shooter (although we have myth. dreadscorcher)

So, the set should support shaman/necromancer/demo with fire to aether conversion to FS and phys to aether conversion to savagery and with support of savagery/Primal/FS.

Yes,good idea,Aether,especially as melee is pretty limited.

But Defiler class???Shove it in the wardrobe .

I think we need the support of this class ) ofc, not to make it challenge warlord/dervish in strength but to make it playable at least

Nightblade indeed would be a good third class choice. Maybe some Pierce to Aether conversion for the WPS. We already have Aether Shadowstrike. And there is some interesting aether items for Nightblade in FG.

Demolitionist should have a third option for damage: 1) Elemental is obvious, good and has been done numerous times; 2) chaos … well … there are many posts on the state of chaos; 3) aether, yes, but only for Argrivix. I’d like other options.

Well actually, Agrivix is a Defiler set. And you can make Defiler do pretty insane stuff in it.

I agree that Defiler needs something that is tailored specifically for the DEFILER. Not another Blight Lord.

The fact that Bonemonger’s Fury supports Oathkeeper as a third mastery is infuriating. Should’ve been Demolitionist.

If it’s a place for new aether set , that should be a set for 100% aether PRM . This skill is half elemental and half aether but the later has only a one MI medal support .

My suggestion is making this new set for caster Temlar build like this:

            Attak Seru set ( cause this goddess of magic has no one yet )

Chest, shaulders, helm and offhand saving space for kaisan/conduit and MoSQ .

100% elemental to aether for PRM, aether rr for guards , flat 120-150 OA, +1 to Arcanist and Oathkeeper, 12-15% phys res and +3-4 sec with +5-6% DA for accention.
