Maybe instead of affecting the damage and cooldown of throwable skills(Grenado, Canister bomb, Stun Jacks) it instead modifies the skills of the demolitionist.
Modification Examples:
mortar would fire in a three-round burst
flashbang would leave a dome that would continiously apply the effects of flashbang as long as the enemies are within it
canister bomb’s mini bombs would leave even smaller bombs after exploding
stun jacks will be connected by a line of electricity that has the same effects of the stun jacks
I don’t know if this is a good idea but it might turn ulzuin’s chosen into a much more viable skill
a global transmuter for all the mastery tree then ?
i see two reasons for it not to happen :
the amount of work for Crate because it isn’t a single skill rework, but an additional skill tree to build
what happen if you want only one of the changes but not the other ? that doesn’t make the skill very appealing imo.
the idea isn’t bad in itself too, and that could be something interesting for the expansion, bringing a few game-changing transmuters affecting several skills for every mastery. hard to balance but potentially exciting
I kind of wish it was an exclusive skill like Possession and Oleron’s Rage. It would probably need to rebalanced if it was changed to be so, but i’m kind of bummed that it only affects 3 skills.
My question is why doesn’t it affect Blackwater cocktail or thermite mines?
Just made an elementalist that is going full max fire strike and blackwater cocktail plus 5/5 thermite mine branch with a 4/3/3 briarthorn pet and 5 in primal bond. With a few other one pointer auras, only 4 in Heart of the wild. Currently level 24 and wrecking everthing thanks to the gunslingers coat.
My idea on blackwater cocktail is that the area of fire will slowly expand outwards. As for termite mines it might have swirling blades of fire that deals damage in a longer range.
But still these are just my ideas. I just want to share them.
Edit: Maybe it won’t include passives, toggle passives, and default weapon attacks
Anything that changed Ulzuin’s Chosen to pretty much anything else would be better than what we have now. I don’t know why it still exists in its current state, given that it’s been almost universally reviled since it was introduced way back in build 13.
I’d turn it into an exclusive, maybe something like this:
+fire/burn/lightning/electrocute/physical damage, NOT restricted to any particular skills
+casting speed
-25% stun resist penalty, decreasing with points to 0% at 20/10
1000-5000 fire damage absorption, starts at zero and increases to max over say 20 seconds while the aura is on
random fire/burn/stun projectiles spawn anytime you use an active skill with a nonzero cooldown from the Demolitionist mastery
