[Idea] Raise Skeletons

As we all know these skeletons are pretty weak in defense, but their damage is cool. Many people like to focus on them if they pick Necromancer, but many of them also don’t like the randomness in it. I thought it’d be nice to add four transmuters to this skill, each had 3 levels and would provide a particular type of skeleton. Example:

66% of your next summons are Skeleton Warriors
3/3
100% of your next summons are Skeleton Warriors

We’d spend 3 points to have a particular type of skeletons we love. Probably not a big deal, I think.

Another idea, probably a way worse one because it’d kind of disable Undead Legion upgrade. There are people, like me, that hate the skeletons because they have to re-summon them all the time because of their lack of HP. So, there’d be a transmuter that removes summon limit from Undead Legion or reduces the summon limit by a percentage and summons a stronger skeleton instead. For example:

Reduces summon limit by 66%, skeletons gain the stats of lost skeletons*

Reduces summon limit by 100% (1 summon limit), skeletons gain the stats of lost skeletons*

  • Skeletons basically fuse, if every skeleton had 100 damage and 120 HP, and we had 10 summons, the 3/3 transmuter would spawn a skeleton with 1000 damage and 1200 HP. I didn’t think about wtf to do with item upgrades here, maybe ignore it and they’d only increase the stats of the summoned skeleton?

Many people could also say that if you don’t like the skeletons, don’t pick them. I agree, you can do that because you don’t really lose too much by that, since your other pets can handle stuff alone, but I really like having additional summons.

4 transmuters on a skill… that’s gonna make other class very very jealous

maybe have items that increase % of certain skeleton minion types summoned?

The second idea is like the Tallman’s Finger from D3, but I think it can just be a 1 level transmuter that fuses all skeletons. However, that kinda defeats the core idea of raise skeletons, which was supposed to be a big army of skeletons.

This is why I kinda thought it’s a bad idea. I don’t really like the horde, as I said, because they’re weak in defense. If Crate would choose the first option, I could get the Revenant upgrade and I could care less about re-summoning them because they’re strong in defense.

Raise Skeleton uses randomness as part of the balance, so it’s highly unlikely to be changed the way you want. Why summon basic skeletons if you can just summon revenants instead?..

Summoning only skeletal archers like many want is best done with item skill modifier, not a transmuter.
