Idea: what about voidspire (and maybe for some other weapons) being partially a ranged weapon?

  1. if the target is far away, you would shoot chaos projectiles from it`s pommel (in theory, the usual pistol animation, but the hand position is slightly different, the damage does not change) as a normal attack (any) and skills like guillotine, which work with the same effects as ranged weapon’s projectiles and in general would be considered both melee and ranged weapon, but you can’t use a pistol with it.

  2. regardless of the distance, it would be possible to roll a wps for a ranged weapon, and execution now launches a projectile that hits 1 target if there was no target nearby, but at a distance it would not activate other vps for melee weapons

details: if you have dual melee weapons and one of them is not voidspire or without such an effect, then only voidspire shoots, and the other is held as off-hand.
it would be great to make this weapon more unique, add interactions with for example inquisitor, brimstones, other items for ranged weapon’s and it would just be interesting in gameplay and in building
