“nothing”
imperial/exalted is a common(white) tier base items
means it’s a 0stat generic item on which an item then gets its actual stat from affixes, magick/rare quality prefix and suffix, which then provides all the stats
imperial/exalted is just a certain level of common/“0stat” base item, to not keep you having the same over and over as you level
*0stat might not be totally true technically, since their weapons do come with regular base dmg, and armour pieces come with regular armour rating ofc, shields have shield block, offhands have cdr/caster items have a base caster stat
but those are inherent stats to the slots and default gets higher with all base item lvl increases regardless of base quality type
all imperial/exalted then does is signify the item level of the white base item
examples
white/common, "framework"item, of which the stats is then applied from affixes - and is why you generally don’t want to use these types if when possible, because other items just have better/more stats by default
ex
MI/rare quality base item, base stats, always comes with these, then gets prefix+suffix bonus stats on top like the above common tier
craftable, magick class base item, still gets 2 affixes/prefix+suffix
craftable, rare class base item, gets 1 affix, either prefix or suffix not both
vs white/0stat again, only gets stats from affixes, but gets 2/prefix+suffix
different tier base item can also change inherent base stats
MI fire hammer, with base fire dmg
craftable magick weapons with base elemental dmg
vs base commons, that always comes with base physical dmg (on non caster class weapons)
