Improvements to drag-select function

It would be nice if the Harvesting selection box worked more like it does in other building games. In most of them you drag a selection box and then click buttons that either mark all the selected resources for harvest or *un-*select any that were already marked for harvesting. If this feature were added, other commands could also be added that would mark structures for upgrades or demolition (or un-select them).

Isn’t that pretty much what it already does? Select Harvest (H), drag over an area, job done. To unselect select Harvest (H), hold shift, drag over an area.

Bees. I placed one near a pond where a lot of bushes bees are supposedly to like would go, only the efficiency percentage is less than 50%. On a whim I harvested those bushes and now the bees have nothing (relocated hive.) What purpose is there in harvesting/removing bushes?

Shift-click and drag in harvest mode doesn’t unselect anything for me.

Do you have the boxes for the things you wish to cancel harvest checked on?

Yes, they are already outlined in white.

Being outlined in white just means they’re selected for harvesting.

The check boxes in the harvest list determine what the (shift-) click and drag selection box applies to.

If the “harvest list” is the one that appears with the four categories at the bottom, unchecking things on that list doesn’t unselect them for harvesting. All selected resources still have “remove as target” when you look at them individually, even after drag-selecting and then un-ticking all four options in the Harvest list.

Not the way it works. Click Harvest (H), select what you want to remove from harvesting by ticking the boxes, hold shift (seems to be left shift btw) and then drag over the area you want to remove from being harvested.
