"Increases armour piercing by..."

Probably missed it but I can’t find exactly what this does in the game guide.

If the last bit of Rimetounge turns up for me I’ll be getting 35% from the pendant, and there is 100% up for grabs from Blades of Nadaan.

Trouble is I have no idea what it does, it only affects pierce damage I assume, and is it just melee pierce or all sources? And what would 135% do? Is it applied after +% pierce damage or er…no idea what the mechanic is or how much difference that extra 100% from Nadaan could make.

Armor piercing is “Physical damage converted to piercing damage”, but it applies after conversion.
If you have 100 physical damage, 10% physical -> fire and 100% armor piercing, you deal 10 fire damage and 90 pierce damage.

Ok thanks, that makes Nadaan pretty darn useless for my character as they don’t do a great deal of physical in the first place.

Adding to what USER_NAME_01 said, increased armour penetration on Nadaan or the Rimetongue amulet is multiplicative.

For example, if you have a sword with 30% armour piercing and 50% increased armour piercing, your weapon will now have 45% armour piercing.

One of the well-known uses of armour piercing is to use the Dermapteran Slicer MI in tandem with Blades of Nadaan for 100% Armour Piercing.

Armour piercing in terms of “Physical converted to Pierce” or the like only applies to weapon damage. You cannot use it convert pure damage skills like Grenado.

all “increases armor piercing” are additive (like blessed whetstones and stuff), and is a multiplicative bonus to the weapon base armor piercing. And, it is a conversion that is last in the conversion chain
